You can do animations in photoshop?

Eggabeg responds:

With a ton of JPEG's and movie maker... yeah!!! Sound is bugged out though :((

This flash is an interesting throwback to an earlier era of flash animation, but it does not deserve to be the highest rated flash on Newgrounds. I realize that this isn't your fault, but god damn.

Grognor responds:

One line I considered for the description of this movie was something like, "Remember when Newgrounds was about mindless violence, and nothing else?" It's more that I've been watching Flash animations forever that this one reminds you of the old days. It's just that's what I know.

I agree completely with your comment, by the way. Was it really the highest rated flash on Newgrounds for a while? How did that even happen?

It is refreshing to see someone make a flash about video games and actually attempt to do something interesting with the subject matter, rather than churning out yet another banal parody. I also enjoyed how the format was reminiscent of old television programs like "Tales from the Darkside". I hope you do more Keaton Tales in the future.

Eastbeast responds:

Thanks, I agree as well, the zelda universe has more potential than to be just a parody source. Thanks for the review : >

2003 called. They want their stupidity back.

straberrykiler6789 responds:

2003 valued humor over graphics

LOL Is this actually going to air on tv?

djchrispy responds:

Heck yeah! But with music!

This is what more flash artists should be doing

Pushing boundaries.

Horsenwelles responds:

my mind hurts that so clever

Why would you even consider animating this?

You get a zero for trying to ruin it for everyone that loves My Little Pony.

MikeandTreyVideo responds:

looks like someone takes their cartoons a little too seriously. I'm guessing you're 11.

this could be cool

Just make sure and give credit to the fact that you were clearly inspired by both the Space Quest series and by Starship Titanic by Douglas Adams.

Toonwerks responds:

And Futurama! Actually, Xiphon's original idea from years ago dealt with a space ship janitor that leaves during a space battle and eventally saves the universe. SQ1 basically, but he had never heard of Space Quest before then.

Toonimated responds:

Our website should be finished in 1-2 weeks. Sorry!
